On 27th December the 3rd generation swift was unveiled in Japan . The new Suzuki swift has a all new exterior and interior with loads of new features.The 2017 Suzuki SWIFT will be launched in mid 2017 in India, 2017 swift has been launched in 5 variants in japan XG,ML,XL,RS,RSt and HYBRID. It is yet to confirm which India bound swift models will be at this time.

 The 2017 Suzuki Swift features a new steering wheel with audio/cruise controls, steering-mounted shift paddles(RSt model only), automatic climate control, keyless entry, push button engine start/stop, heated front seats, and a MID with power readings.

The exterior has a new hexagonal grille with chrome inserts, projector headlamps with LED DRLs (Daytime Running Lamps), LED tail lamps, ORVM’s indicator and fog lamps. The touchscreen infotainment system will support the Apple car play and Andriod play.

The India-bound Swift is expected to get the existing 1.2 litre K-Series petrol motor and 1.3 litre DDiS motor mated to a 5-speed manual a CVT transmission. 

The new swift will be priced a little higher than the ongoing models in india, around Rs- 40-45thousand  may be increased.

Maruti suzuki is set to launch its new NEXA model IGNIS on January 13th in India. IGNIS will be the most affordable model among the NEXA dealerships, IGNIS will be available in  Sigma, Delta, Zeta, Alpha.

It will be equipped with 83hp, 1.2-litre petrol and 75hp, 1.3-litre diesel engines.

The beautifully shaped DRL's and projector lamps will only be available in the top variant.
