MAHINDRA SCORPIO ADVENTURE.......

                           Mahindra launched its new 
                                             SCORPIO ADVENTURE....... 

It is a limited edition variant and only 1000 of such units will be made so if you want to get your hands on one of these you better hurry.

The  Scorpio adventure  is immediately recognisable from  its distinctive silver/white dual-colour scheme and adventure-themed decals.

Added by the 17-inch gunmetal alloys, red brake calipers and smoked tail lamps.

Changes can be seen on the inside as well, with faux leather covering the seats, steering wheel and gear lever. . Based on the top-end ‘S10’ trim, the Adventure edition is well equipped with features. Blue fabric inserts have also been used at certain places to liven up the interior. Scorpio, such as side mirrors with turn indicators, reverse camera and triple-jet windscreen washer. Apart from the above a 6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, GPS navigation, automatic climate control and projector headlamps are also present.

BMW X1 LONG-WHEELBASE

BMW X1 long-wheelbase will debut at 2016 Beijing Motor 

Show.

The BMW X1 is destined for the chinese market and will be unveiled at the beijing motor show this week.

The standard front-wheel drive X1 has a wheelbase measuring 2,670mm (105.1 in) packed in a body 4,439mm (174.8 in) long. China’s version of the compact SUV grows by 110mm, now featuring a 2,780mm wheelbase (109.5 in).

The only visible changes you might see are the extended rear passenger and roofline which is less sloping than the standard wheelbase model. The rear end is also a bit taller. Also, the shape of the three-quarter glass seems to be a bit different than the standard x1.

                                     

                                 Mahindra NuvoSport

Price Rs 7.5 - 10.0 lakhs

After recently launching the TUV100 compact SUV , mahindra has added a new member to its family by launching the NuvoSPORT. 

NuvoSPORT replaces its predecessor Quanto , the diesel motor churns out 100bhp of power and 240Nm of torque. The vehicle will return a certified mileage of 17.45 kmpl. Transmission options include a 5-Speed manual and an optional AMT (automated-manual transmission). The NuvoSport gets anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) as standard across the range.

The NuvoSPORT is equipped with the latest techs like the ECO/POWER mode , micro hybrid technology, AMT( automated manual transmission) , 6.2 inch touchscreen infotainment with bluetooth. These features also depend apon the model.

The NuvoSport is a  7-seater, just like quanto. Only the TUV300 gets a similar 5+2 seating arrangement. Space in the first two rows are more than adequate, with legroom and headroom being ample. The jump seats in the third row are best left to kids. You can even fold the jump seats down and recline the second row. This will be a great for those on long road-trips. 

Speaking of road-trips, the boot is rated at 412-litres.

BMW UNVEILED THE BMW VISION NEXT 100 AND SHOWED THE WORLD WHAT FUTURE BMW CARS WILL BE LIKE AND WHAT BMW IS CAPABLE OF.

BMW Group Classic building opened its doors for the very first time in Moosacher Straße 66, welcoming journalists from around the world to a press conference about BMW’s 100 years. In the afternoon, around 2,000 guests from the world of business, politics, research, society and the media will be welcomed to the Munich Olympic Hall nearby, along with selected dealers, suppliers and associates.

Mercedes benz and porsche other car makers congratulated BMW for completing its 100 years , and when your competitors give respect and congratulate you on your achievement then you know you have done something big. 

BMW will launch a world tour to celebrate its 100 years of working in various other countries and will make stops in China, UK and USA. First will be Beijing, followed by London, where two other Vision Vehicles from BMW Group’s Rolls Royce and MINI brands will join BMW. After London, BMW will travel to Los Angeles, where the quartet of Vision Vehicles will be completed by a newcomer from BMW’s Motorrad Division.

BMW plans on celebrating throughout the entire year. BMW’s Festival — The NEXT 100 YEARS will be going on September 9-11, 2016, in Munich and will be held on the grounds of the Munich Olympic Park. The BMW Museum, BMW Welt and the area around the iconic ‘Four-Cylinder’ headquarters building will also be included, and events will be rounded off in the evenings by the BMW Festival Night. The first BMW Festival Night will be exclusively for BMW Group employees; the second will be open to the general public. High-profile personalities and international stars from the world of music will take to the stage, while renowned DJs will ensure a real festival atmosphere.
