       TATA MOTORS EVISION ELECTRIC CAR CONCEPT

Tata Motors marked 20 years at the GENEVA INTERNATIONAL MOTOR SHOW with the unveiling of its electric sedan concept Tata EVision.

Based on the new OMEGA architecture of the Tata H5X SUV, the EVision is the first sedan to come out of the Impact Design 2.0 family. The platform here accommodates two electric motors and a battery pack which is placed on the floor of the car. This opens up more space in the cabin as well as improves the dynamics of the car by keeping the centre of gravity low down.

TATA is achieving a new status to its brand and seems to be very confident about it, as the Impact Design 2.0 is Futuristic.

Technical information available about the car is that the concept features two motors, one on each axle which will make this sedan an AWD.  
It will feature both slow AC charging and fast DC charging, with a range of 350-420km on a single charge.

 Performance enthusiast will be glad to know that the EVision will have a top speed of 200kmph and will reach triple digits sub-7 seconds. 

 Also, the car will pack in a lot of tech like predictive energy management systems, which will focus on giving you the best range possible and connected technologies such as cloud computing, analytics, geospatial mapping, and increased human-machine interface.

ALTHOUGH THIS IS JUST A CONCEPT BUT WE ARE PRETTY SURE THAT IT IS NOT FAR AWAY FROM HITTING THE MARKETS AS ITS ALL THE FUSS IS ABOUT THE ELECTRIC CARS IN THE FUTURE. 

INFACT THEN-POWER MINISTER SAID THAT NOT A SINGLE PETROL CAR WILL BE SOLD BY 2030.

On 27th December the 3rd generation swift was unveiled in Japan . The new Suzuki swift has a all new exterior and interior with loads of new features.The 2017 Suzuki SWIFT will be launched in mid 2017 in India, 2017 swift has been launched in 5 variants in japan XG,ML,XL,RS,RSt and HYBRID. It is yet to confirm which India bound swift models will be at this time.

 The 2017 Suzuki Swift features a new steering wheel with audio/cruise controls, steering-mounted shift paddles(RSt model only), automatic climate control, keyless entry, push button engine start/stop, heated front seats, and a MID with power readings.

The exterior has a new hexagonal grille with chrome inserts, projector headlamps with LED DRLs (Daytime Running Lamps), LED tail lamps, ORVM’s indicator and fog lamps. The touchscreen infotainment system will support the Apple car play and Andriod play.

The India-bound Swift is expected to get the existing 1.2 litre K-Series petrol motor and 1.3 litre DDiS motor mated to a 5-speed manual a CVT transmission. 

The new swift will be priced a little higher than the ongoing models in india, around Rs- 40-45thousand  may be increased.

Maruti suzuki is set to launch its new NEXA model IGNIS on January 13th in India. IGNIS will be the most affordable model among the NEXA dealerships, IGNIS will be available in  Sigma, Delta, Zeta, Alpha.

Hyundai has launched its 6th generation elantra which is now available in india with 9 variants both petrol and diesel. This new Elantra is more stylish and aggressive than before, this new model has joined the new Hyundai league and looks very promising.

This new model will compete with the outgoing Skoda octavia,
Volkswagen jetta, Toyota corolla altis and Chevrolet cruze.
Design wise the previous model of Elantra looked very dull and curvy which turned out to be a disapointment for the buyers.
although the new model looks sharp and persuasive from every corner.

The front of the car looks very similar to Hyundai's santa-fe with the big grill and the downwards aggressive headlights.

The Elantra is equipped with two engine options – a 2.0-litre VTVT petrol and a 1.6-litre CRDi diesel. The 1,999cc petrol puts out 152PS at 6,200rpm and 178Nm of max torque at 4,700rpm. The 1,582cc diesel produces 128PS at 4,000rpm and 260Nm of peak torque in between 1,900-2,750rpm. Transmission options include six-speed manual and automatic, with both the engines.

Mercedes benz has launched its new mid size-sUV against  the audi q3 and bmw x3. it’s based on the same platform as the C-class and the wheelbase has been stretched by 33mm. But what also makes it look big is the tall cabin and the wide nose. 

This is mercedes cheapest mid size-luxury SUV u can buy now, earlier only BMW and AUDI had taken over in this segment but now Mercedes is also in the game.

 There are 2 variants of GLC i.e GLC 220(diesel) and GLC 300(petrol) priced from 50.7lakhs - 55.9lakhs range.

GLC's front resembles the c-class as it is based on same platform but where GLC stands out is when you look at it from the back which is something different than usual but it looks amazing.Actually the back end of GLC  looks like the GLE.
